I have come across racist people in my own country, Portugal, in England (London) where I lived for a huge while, and to be honest none of that has ever affected me. It's simply not an issue for me, no matter where I am. I guess the more we talk about ignorants the more we strengthen them. And I'm sure Canberra is a great place!!!

I live in Brisbane, which is among the fastest-growing cities in the world at the moment and the state government seems to be having trouble keeping up to date with the traffic system etc. I've been considering moving down there.

We have equal oppertunity rights for everyone, we celebrate a diverse range of foods and cultures and Canberra holds a Multicultural festival every year to celebrate this. I'm 21, I live here and Canberra is FANTASTIC! 10 minute drive to uni, live bands, tons of dance clubs every weekend, thousands of resturants, and heaps of bush. You Just need to look for things coz Canberra doesn't have everything located in the CBD.
