Left wingers would be more inclined to say that all resources are to be shared equally, similar to the differences between socialism and capitalism but without the state.

It's true he has been somewhat toned down in the film, but he is definitely an anarchist (again, think of the resemblance between his "V" symbol and the anarchist "A" - it's not a coincidence), as can be plainly seen by reading the comic book.
