Feb 28, 2010 - The point of the speech is not to point the finger, but to look within and ask yourself if you have implicitly or explicitly contributed to the unjust and unconscionable, by allowing yourself to be governed by those who abuse their power.

Feb 28, 2010 - this movie actually is not only anti-fascist, which you didn't remark in the info. it is actually pretty liberal, or for a liberal democracy. conservatism is obviously also attacked in this film as it was the leading party responsible for complete discrimination and take over.
pimentogrove Says:
Feb 28, 2010 - I agree. Those who say "all government" or "don't point fingers" know that this controlling government is of their political party. History is, the political party most responsible for "bigger more control" & taking over people's lives, & private sector, small business, has ALWAYS been democrat. It's the "Yin" to the Republican "Yang" which must also exists. Republican agenda has always been less control, smaller government and more freedom for people and private sector. no shame, own who u r

Mar 3, 2010 - "Words offer the means to meaning." *spoiler* Well, comming from the knife guy, I figure him to be confused. Besides the human factor, why is he so hateful?Dumas´s master piece was even hinted at in this film, so why linger by its revengeful plot, when this movie could´ve delivered something even greater? Our faith in peoples ability to change should be infused more often, I think. Thus, being a cartoon hero with such retorical skills, surely V could´ve talked those badies over?:)
belgenvlaming Says:

Mar 7, 2010 - you are just proof (I understand that the concept of proof is mathematical) that intelligence can destroy ones ability to think freely hiding behind your numbers wont save you when they put a camera on you street corner or arrest you for thought crime.
BarcaOMuerte Says:
Mar 9, 2010 - If you believe that this speach is against communism or nazism then you haven't understood anything about the movie. It's about the very western democratic state tending to suppress individual rights and freedom in order to control more and more its own people under the legitimation of a terrorist threat.
