Dec 17, 2009 - sorry, malaysia is not safe at all, i'm a KL resident and every single woman in my house (me, mother, sister, housemaid) has been assaulted on the streets of KL. We live in taman tun, which is a nice upper middle class suburb, and we don't hang out in sketchy places at all but we've all been attacked anyway. So be very careful, because our police system is also very weak and if you get robbed, nobody will do anything about it.
