Mar 20, 2010 - Mmm, although i do enjoy this more than premiership, there's some leaking defence here at times, really being honest not to start trying to defend the premiership. There seems to be that attitude of 'well they scored but we'll score one back' rather than defending for their lives. Good or bad? At the end of the day the product sells if the attacking play is awesome I guess!! Anyway, like the look of Ranger. Hope he gets a shot at one of the NZ sides, whether senior side or Junior All Blacks!!

Mar 26, 2010 - @u01cjs5 That's why it's played in so many countries

Apr 4, 2010 - @polarbearfelly It's not that defense is bad, its just that the southern hemisphere are better at breaking tackles and breaking the line. If the ABs were to play ireland today, i guarantee you that Irish will find out exactly how hard it is to crack the AB defense and Toeava, Nonu and Carter will break the Irish line at will.
polarbearfelly Says:
Apr 5, 2010 - @187prettyboy mmm, well still think there is more space in defence. Agree that they read the game better down there. Breaking tackles comment? Seems to me they're more able to get outside the man down there, and know when to attack and put the after burners on. Its a) a mindset we don't yet possess and b) a better understanding of the game coupled with greater skill. What d'ya think? Are these the things we would need to improve on?

Apr 5, 2010 - Stephen Brett will be back-up to Carter in the AB's this year.... No more donald
187prettyboy Says:
Apr 6, 2010 - @polarbearfelly agreed largely with what you said, I do however disagree with people like rugby writer Stephen Jones who say that defense is non existent in S14 players. Which is not true, otherwise northern hemisphere players would easily be able to penetrate Southern hemispheres' defenses.

May 5, 2010 - @nickojb7 What About Mike Delany?
